Production Operator

Role And Responsibilities

• Load and run parts on various production machine tools
• Absolutely ensure all parts produced meet quality specs
• Able to work within very close tolerances
• Read and follow drawings & job work instructions
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Monitor tool wear, load tools and inserts as required

Requirements

• Candidate will possess strong communication skills
• Excellent work ethic; being open to working overtime if the need arises
• Can work in a fast-paced environment, and meet time deadlines
• Willing to learn to read and understand drawings and measuring equipment
• Basic computer skills such as e-mailing, open & print documents, and navigating windows/internet explorer

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 35 pounds by self in safe manner
• Ability to use lifting assist
