About the role

As a Production Operator in our advanced Holdrege manufacturing facility, you’ll help build life-changing insulin delivery syringes that support and positively impact millions globally. The Holdrege facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, producing 2.3 billion medical devices annually with a team of approximately 450 people across day and night shifts. We are currently hiring for a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Gown up with required PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety shoes.
  • Check in with your team and review the day’s goals at the start of your shift.
  • Set up and operate machines and equipment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse to mold, assemble, and package insulin syringes.
  • Inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure they meet high quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete inspection and quality documentation, a critical part of the role in a highly regulated medical devices facility.
  • Move raw material supplies and finished products to necessary locations in the facility.
  • Monitor equipment for output and issues, and problem-solve efficiently if something goes wrong.
  • Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly and safely, with safety as the highest priority.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork to ensure product safety, regulatory compliance, and traceability.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Reliable, organized, and ready to learn.
  • Innate focus on safety, integrating safety considerations into daily work and decision-making.
