Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Maintain setup and operate automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production / processing operation.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production / process specifications.
- Schedule: 12 Hour Nights 5p-5a, 2-3-2 schedule.
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
- Operate, test, and monitor assigned equipment according to established organizational guidelines.
- Observe and conduct the operation of equipment and document maintenance needs.
- Report any malfunctions or abnormalities; make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
- Communicate with equipment technicians relating to highly complex equipment issues as needed.
- Verify equipment data for reporting; support and assist with the installation of operating equipment.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Vocational / technical degree (preferred)
- 1+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
Qualifications
- Must be able to work nights.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
