Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST (4-10’s schedule)
- Overtime as needed on Fridays, 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
- Follow work orders and other specifications to ensure proper setup sequence is followed.
- Select, place, and secure tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Observe tasks to verify quality performance; conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Verify instruments are in proper working order.
- Set and adjust equipment to regulate machines to maintain speed, output, and quality standards.
- Clean equipment, maintain an area free from debris, and ready or put away tools on machinery.
- Closely follow directions to operate machinery and tools.
- Report issues to Production Leads or Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
- Be able to work extended hours when required.
- Responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demand, equipment changes, and improved Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work a variety of roles and cross-train as needed.
- Highly motivated with desire to move from task to task as needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Job training is provided.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work and stand for extended periods on concrete floors for 10-hour shifts.
- Ability to work in hot, wet, and humid environments.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push, and pull material.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to follow proper safety protocols.
