Production Operator
Responsibilities
- Mix and manage chemicals for the encapsulation process.
- Measure, weigh, and document production runs accurately.
- Follow GMP regulations throughout the production process.
- Set up and operate the fluid bed unit, including assembling the pump system.
- Run equipment and oversee production operations while taking necessary readings and adjusting temperature and mixing speed.
- Disassemble and clean units after production is complete.
- Handle and move raw materials, including 55 lbs bags and up to 175 lbs drums, with team lifting assistance.
- Document weight checks and other parameters during production.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience in a production or food/pharmaceutical environment with chemical mixing and SOP adherence.
- Experience in documenting production runs and following batch records, including weights, temperature checks, and mixing speed.
- Strong math skills, including proficiency with decimals for chemical calculations.
- High attention to detail, verified through references.
- High School diploma.
- Reliable work history and attendance, verified through references.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in cleanroom settings with hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to work independently in separate production suites to prevent cross-contamination.
- Comfortable working with narcotics and hazardous pharmaceutical compounds.
Work Environment
- Operates within a cleanroom setting, requiring employees to maintain shoes specifically for facility use.
- Operators will wear provided uniforms, lab coats, hairnets, and booties.
- The work involves exposure to hazardous chemicals, including narcotics.
- Production suites are three stories tall, necessitating stair climbing.
- After production, suites must be power washed and sanitized.
Training
- Training occurs on the 1st shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., Mon-Fri) for approximately 3-4 months before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift.

Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
