Production Operator- Assembler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate power tools, hand tools, machinery and computers.
• Perform equipment changeovers.
• Responsible for quality control.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment and tooling Preventative Maintenance as required.
• Operate forklift.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

Qualification Requirements

• Must be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability, i.e.: cutting rubber/aluminum, drilling and tapping, etc.
• Fundamental knowledge of adhesive and fasteners.

Physical/Medical Requirements

• Must pass a preemployment background screening.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
• Use of safety equipment including but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety boots or shoes.
• Loosefitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
