Responsibilities

  • Operate machines or assembly equipment to produce parts or products.
  • Read work orders, work instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
  • Maintain production documentation.
  • Position and secure inserts, hand loads, and work pieces on machines.
  • Remove finished products from machines using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment.
  • Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain Techniplas and customer quality standards.
  • File, deburr, sand, grind, or polish metal or plastic objects.
  • Fill in appropriate information on labels and associated documentation for products.
  • Final packaging of products for shipment.
  • Perform clean-up procedures and re-work duties as assigned.
  • Relieve other operators for breaks as needed.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while standing for an entire shift with frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident culture and uphold environmental stewardship.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Reading comprehension for understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic math and its applications.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and documents at the workstation.
  • Manual dexterity to quickly move hands, arms, or both to grasp or assemble objects.
  • Ability to coordinate limbs while sitting or standing.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds.
  • High school education, diploma, or GED with an interest in manufacturing.
  • Performance-driven, team-oriented, and client-focused attitude.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with an impressive work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions in English or Spanish.
  • Reliability and punctuality; attendance is crucial.
  • Must pass a mandatory drug screening.
