Shift

  • Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 6:30am

Responsibilities

  • Runs various equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping a quality product to the customer.
  • Follows standard operating procedures and processes to ensure quality of the orders produced, while working in a team environment to achieve daily goals.
  • Performs set-up of press including identifying and loading correct stock, setting correct paper path and stretch, mounting plates, die registration, making appropriate adjustments to the ink and water levels, assuring accurate single-color register, and setting up any attribute functions, e.g. perforations, number, file holes, thermo unit, etc.
  • Determines and understands all order instructions and runs press productively while meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds customer's expectations.
  • Troubleshoots mechanical breakdowns; demonstrates the ability to make adjustments to the equipment including blanket changes, wash up units, cleaning water system and roller settings as required.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure a quality product to customer as required.
  • Understands all press controls and demonstrates their use.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • HS/GED with 1 year printing experience with similar equipment
  • Familiar with product, equipment, printing process, and ink usage
  • Mechanical ability to operate and maintain press
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
