Production Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. Shift Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Hourly Rate: $20.21.

Responsibilities

- Manufacturing products by following visual aids, written work instructions, established procedures, and verbal directions. - Operating hand, pneumatic, and power tools, as well as small and large production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery. - Moving materials and components as needed to support production requirements and maintain efficient material flow. - Rotating between workstations, work cells, and departments to support operational needs and production schedules. - Completing and maintaining required production, quality, and departmental records. - Identifying and reporting process, equipment, or quality issues to appropriate personnel. - Performing product, equipment, and process setups, adjustments, and changeovers in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, which may include sitting, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and other movements as required throughout the workday. - Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English, including assembly, testing, safety, and equipment documentation. - Ability to assemble and adjust products in accordance with established work instructions, specifications, and quality standards. - Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. - Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.21 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
