About the role

As a Production Operator, you’ll help keep our filling line running safely, efficiently, and consistently. This position is essential to producing high-quality packaged products at our Byesville, OH, USA plant, an integral part of our Beverage division dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other liquid ingredients. We’re looking for dependable, hands-on team members to operate and maintain Combibloc filling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the filler machine stocked and operating smoothly
  • Monitor product levels, pressures, and specifications
  • Perform weight checks and make minor adjustments
  • Inspect seals and overall package quality
  • Run basic tests and record results
  • Follow cleaning and flavor-change procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Log production data and downtime
  • Inspect sleeves for defects
  • Follow all safety and chemical-handling guidelines
  • Communicate issues or changes with the team
  • Report equipment problems promptly
  • Assist with training and provide break coverage
  • Empty rework and prepare materials for the next shift
  • Refill coder ink and related supplies

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
  • 1 year of food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal
  • 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime
  • Must be self-motivated and conscientious
  • Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
  • Ability to complete certification requirements
  • Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred

Pay

$19.34 per hour

Schedule

2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Overtime on Saturday is available.
