Production Operator ( 12hr. shifts, 545pm-6am) $18.50/hr. with $1.00 shift differential

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to Production Tech with order processing, changes, and setup.
• Bags, boxes, or palletizes finished products.
• Performs quality inspections and tests.
• Positions sheet rolls on unwind stands and initiates sheet flow through formers and trim presses.
• Aids in the production and operation of manufacturing process equipment.
• Prepares production logs, product tags, and time cards as needed.
• Operates scrap grinders as required and comprehends the recycle system.
• Complies with plant safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensures compliance with SQF / HACCP requirements as per the location’s Food Safety & Quality Policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Legible writing and report completion skills.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Common sense understanding to follow instructions and solve standardized problems.
• No specific certifications, licenses, or registrations are required.
