Production Operations Supervisor

About the role

This position supports pharmaceutical packaging operations, focusing on ensuring compliance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Under supervision, the incumbent will develop metrics, analyze data, and improve SOPs in accordance with cGMPs. The role offers opportunities for leadership development in people management, safety, and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train staff.
• Lead safety and 5S initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Assist with packaging, quality checks, and recordkeeping.
• Support internal and external quality investigations.
• Manage daily operations.
• Revise SOPs to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience (preferred).

Skills

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, develop relationships, and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and support safety and compliance standards.
