Production Operations Supervisor

About the role

Support pharmaceutical packaging operations by leading safety, quality, and process improvements. Develop and analyze metrics, maintain SOPs per cGMP standards, and mentor staff to enhance skills. Lead safety initiatives, assist with equipment troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage daily departmental operations, including record keeping, performance management, and SOP revisions. Participate in investigations and support quality audits. Develop team through training and coaching, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to drive improvements and develop SOPs aligned with cGMPs.
• Mentor and train team members, supporting onboarding and skill development.
• Lead safety and 5S initiatives facility-wide.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment and assist with production tasks.
• Maintain accurate records, including batch records and shift reports.
• Support incident investigations and CAPA processes.
• Manage daily operations such as time management, payroll, and performance reviews.
• Update SOPs/WIs to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.

Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and use MS Office proficiently.
• Knowledge of KPIs and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
