Production Operations Coordinator - 2nd Shift

What You'll Do

  • Lead the onboarding process for new operators and temporary associates during their first 90 days.
  • Provide hands-on training and coaching in production processes.
  • Teach food safety, GMPs, workplace safety, and company procedures.
  • Possess the ability to partner with Production Supervisors, Team Leads, and A Operators to coordinate training and skill development.
  • Observe associates on the production floor and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct weekly and bi-weekly performance check-ins throughout the onboarding period.
  • Track associate progress and document training milestones.
  • Cook up to coordinate additional coaching and retraining when needed.
  • Serve as a resource for questions related to production processes, equipment operation, safety, and company policies.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, quality, and safe work practices.
  • Assist with production support activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One to two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to coach and motivate others is a must-have.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is crucial.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires spending approximately 85–90% of the day on the production floor working alongside associates.
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
  • Working in a food manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
  • Wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
