Production Member - 3rd Shift

About the role

A production team member operates machinery, assembles parts, and packages goods on a manufacturing line while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
• Use hand tools to smooth rough edges
• Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
• Prep boxes with labels and instructions
• Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
• Close and staple the box using staple gun
• Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
• Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
• Participate in team environment with 2 – 5 team members in the area

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40lbs.
• Occasionally work with weights of up to 20lbs.
• Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
• Able to stand for periods of up to 8 hour shifts, with breaks.
• Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
