Production Manager (Roofing)

About the Role

Guardian is an established Roofing & Gutter company seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and sharp problem-solving skills to assist in the management of the day-to-day operations in our fast-paced Roofing Installation department. The Install Production Manager will oversee Superintendents, dispatch crews and technicians, and see each project through its life cycle, while serving as a main point of contact for customers throughout all stages of the project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians and field superintendents, providing daily schedules, job scopes, technical guidance, and additional support as needed.
• Conduct daily job site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns related to projects.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement.
• Make timely decisions to keep projects on track and ensure successful outcomes with the customer’s needs in mind.
• Coordinate with Field Superintendents and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure technicians and crews have the resources needed to complete each project.
• Submit bi-weekly payroll documentation for production employees.
• Generate accurate purchase orders with estimated costs and coordinate material deliveries.
• Ensure company-owned equipment is returned in the same condition as checked out.
• Work with Superintendents to ensure proper communication with customers, including progress updates, quality control calls, change orders, and resolving concerns.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Roofing industry or other Construction field.
• Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to build strong rapport with clients and provide a great experience before, during, and after the project.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and work on roofs, sometimes up to 40 ft tall.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Location & Schedule

Must be able to report daily to Guardian's facility located in Auburn, WA.

6:30 AM report time, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend availability.

Pay

Highly competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus $2,500 monthly bonus opportunities.
