Day to Day

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations
  • Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets
  • Monitor workflow and productivity, ensuring consistent output and adherence to company standards
  • Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with all safety training and procedures
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) to optimize workflow and customer outcomes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Coach, train, and motivate employees
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture — and have fun doing it!

Skills Set

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, lumber, or building materials environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
  • Working knowledge of production operations, safety standards, and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements and complete basic math problems
  • Physical ability to occasionally assist on the floor as needed (handling up to 55 pounds)
  • Forklift certification or willingness to complete company certification program
  • Highly organized, responsible, and motivated with a hands-on management style
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and promoting teamwork

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible) 40hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)
