About the role
The Sr. Production Manager – Women’s Intimates will oversee and execute production for Savage X Fenty's women’s intimate products. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Production, this role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost alignment.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead end-to-end production execution for the Women’s Intimates business
- Drive production readiness and manage vendor performance
- Maintain visibility to risks and partner cross-functionally to support successful commercialization and delivery
- Create, manage, and drive the production calendar for Women’s Intimates
- Monitor pre-production schedules, key milestones, and delivery dates
- Ensure production tasks remain on track from buy placement through delivery
- Track monthly projections versus actual units placed to support vendor capacity and the growing business
- Serve as the primary production contact for vendors and agent offices
- Oversee day-to-day vendor communication related to production status, issues, and delivery
- Oversee the vetting and support onboarding of new vendors and factories, including required setup and documentation
- Ensure manufacturing partners consistently meet Savage X Fenty standards for delivery, quality, cost, and operational reliability
- Partner closely with Product Development, Design, Tech Design, Fabric, and other internal teams to support production readiness
- Participate in global sourcing strategy and factory allocation decisions
- Work cross-functionally to support factory capacity booking and production planning
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and speed in decision-making
- Analyze cost and margin implications where needed to support informed production decisions
- Monitor vendor terms, invoicing, and payment-related issues as applicable to production execution
- Manage production chargebacks and extension requests
- Partner with Design and Technical teams to confirm readiness of technical specifications, garment construction details, grading, and measurement requirements
- Manage bulk fabric approvals and garment testing processes
- Review and approve in-line and final inspection reports
- Analyze development samples to ensure alignment to quality expectations, fit intent, construction, and customer experience
- Troubleshoot quality issues with cross-functional partners, drive resolution, and document learnings
- Track delivery status of orders and ensure communication of any timing risks
- Monitor shipping and import coordination with third-party partners as applicable
- Support visibility to goods pickup and delivery milestones
- Lead regular communication with overseas partners and vendors, including weekly status calls
- Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate risks related to timing, quality, cost, and delivery
- Provide clear updates and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Support production-related coordination for sample sets needed by cross-functional partners such as marketing and influencer teams
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.
