Production Manager - Mankato, MN

About the Role

Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand, including both hourly and salary production roles. Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in his/her absence. Serve as liaison between production personnel and staff on matters of communication, decisions, and policies. Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments. Ensure continuous improvement of methods and processes. Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules and regulations, providing a safe and clean workplace and complying with all regulatory agencies by leading by example and following up. Participate and support food safety auditing in a timely manner. Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules, regulations, and regulatory agencies.
• Support food safety auditing promptly.
• Coordinate with procurement on raw material needs or deficiencies.

Requirements

• Four‑year degree preferred.
• Previous management/supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work permanently in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
• English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension sufficient for essential duties.
