Production Manager

About the role

Plan, organize, manage, and schedule daily production to ensure timely and on-schedule completion of products. Monitor production processes, adjust schedules as needed, and troubleshoot production issues to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Shipping & Receiving departments to ensure final product execution meets all specifications, including materials, processes, time studies, and quality control.

Optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and analyze production data to prepare reports for senior management. Lead production staff, including hiring, training, and disciplinary action, and facilitate daily and weekly production meetings. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, OSHA, labor, and other regulatory requirements. Implement "Best Practices" for manufacturing, drive continuous improvement of employee morale, engagement, and recognition, and refine SOPs, QC, and costing benefits.

Communicate with customers, vendors, contractors, and other partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, business, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in production or operations management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
• Proficiency in production management software and tools
• ERP familiarity
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
