Production Manager
About the role
The Production Manager position at TA Instruments involves managing a team within the Production department to ensure efficient and quality production of electroforce instruments. The role includes supervising instrument assemblers and technicians, planning production operations, resolving operational issues, and maintaining a safe and high-quality manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises a group of instrument assemblers and/or technicians involved in the production of electroforce instruments ensuring that work is performed in accordance with established procedures.
- Trains, evaluates performance, and recommends disciplinary actions for team members.
- Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates.
- Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Production Management, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of Manufacturing related experience, including 2+ years of Supervisory experience in a Manufacturing Production environment.

- Proficient in all Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
