Production Manager
About the role
As Production Manager, you will own the full production lifecycle — from master scheduling across CNC machines, L-PBF 3D printers, and support equipment, to day-to-day execution of all released work orders. You will translate cross-functional priorities into capacity-aligned schedules, drive performance against meaningful metrics, and lead a team that executes with independence and pride. This is not a reactive, expedite‑driven role. You will build schedules that look two weeks out and two years out, using data from ProShop ERP/MES to identify bottlenecks before they become crises. You will coach operators to own quality at the point of manufacture and develop the next generation of production leaders alongside you.
Responsibilities
- Master Scheduling & Capacity: own the schedule — short‑term through long‑term — for all production resources and labor; build capacity models during ramp‑up and keep delivery commitments intact.
- Production Execution: set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities and monitor real‑time performance to resolve disruptions before they compound; flow and predictability are the standard.
- People & Culture: lead, coach, and develop all production personnel; establish clear expectations, drive engagement, and build a team that holds itself accountable.
- Data & Continuous Improvement: track On‑Time Delivery, OEE, labor efficiency, scrap and rework, and quality; turn data into decisions and decisions into measurable gains.
- Quality & Compliance: enforce AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards at the operator level.
Requirements
- Recognized subject matter expert in manufacturing execution and capacity scheduling.
- Led production teams in high‑mix, technically complex environments — ideally including CNC machining or additive manufacturing.

- Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations under ITAR.
