Production Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a Production Manager to lead production operations at our flagship Canal Street facility. In this role, you'll provide leadership to Production Supervisors, partner across departments, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring exceptional performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities
- Lead production operations across multiple shifts or production areas, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors while building accountability and leadership capability throughout the organization.
- Drive key operational metrics including safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost.
- Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Bakery, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee production planning, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Utilize Oracle ERP to manage production reporting, inventory transactions, work order completion, material consumption, and production scheduling.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing processes using Lean principles.
- Foster a culture built on safety, teamwork, accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading supervisors, managers, or other frontline leaders.
- Food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or similar manufacturing systems is a plus.
