Production Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Develop and execute production strategies, translating operational goals into actionable plans while supporting capacity, workforce, and investment planning.
- Drive production planning and resource optimization, ensuring effective scheduling of personnel, equipment, and processes to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
- Manage production performance and continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean methodologies to improve quality, productivity, cost, and overall operational efficiency.
- Oversee budget and financial performance for production cost centers, ensuring adherence to budgets, accurate forecasting, and achievement of financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational standards, including adherence to ESH requirements and corporate production standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, including workforce training, performance management, succession planning, and employee skill development in partnership with HR.
- Monitor and report key operational KPIs, implementing corrective actions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve metrics such as quality, cost, delivery, and waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or +10 or more years of professional experience in production/manufacturing.
- +5 or more years of professional experience in production/manufacturing.
- +5 or more years in a leadership position with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.
- Advanced level of quality management (including quality policies, systems, and processes).
- Advanced level of lean production principles, methods, and tools.
- Advanced level of problem-solving and decision-making tools and techniques.
- Advanced level of project management skills, tools, and techniques.
- Strong communication skills.
