About the Role

The Production Manager directs and coordinates department activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
  • Gives work directions, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
  • Prepares reports and records on department activities for management, using a computer.
  • Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
  • May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.
  • Other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Reliable attendance is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office suite skills, specifically Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a related field.
  • 5 years of related experience.

Schedule

6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Pay

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $81,427 to $108,569. The exact salary may be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

  • Strength Level Rating: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

    • Talk by expressing or exchanging communication through spoken word.
    • Hear by perceiving the nature of sounds and have near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
  • Occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time):
    • Reach by extending hands and arms.
    • Handle objects by seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
    • Pick, pinch, or otherwise work primarily with fingers.
    • Adjust vision to bring objects into sharp focus.
