Production Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.Supervise, coach, and develop supervisors, production team members and any applicable maintenance personnel.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, OSHA regulations, and quality requirements.Monitor and adjust production schedules and staffing levels to meet customer demand.Analyze production data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve operational performance.Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Human Resources to support operational objectives.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Ensure proper training and cross-training of production employees.Conduct performance reviews, corrective actions, and employee development planning.Manage labor utilization and overtime while controlling department costs.Maintain accurate production records and reporting.Support a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.Manage vendor invoicing and ensure accurate allocation to various general ledgers for production expenses.Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Proficiency with Microsoft SuiteExcellent communication skills and the ability to message to a diverse group of peopleAbility to identify and solve problems individuallyAbility to work in a fast pace environment, managing multiple priorities and changing the approach based on current business needs.Ability to review, synthesize and make decisions based on various data sets.5+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.3+ years of direct supervisory or management experience. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Previous experience in JD Edwards ERP systemKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesKnowledge of engineering platforms such as CAD or Solid WorksPrevious experience with general accounting and AP systems Physical Requirements Ability to walk throughout the production facility for extended periods.Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variations, and moving equipment.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
