Production Manager

About the role

A top‑tier, employee‑owned, family‑first organization is seeking an experienced Production Manager to work closely with the Director of Operations. The Production Manager will supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Achieve manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salaried employees.
• Plan, monitor, and appraise production results.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, and mediate with employees to maintain performance.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, observing control points and equipment, tracking personnel and resources, reporting daily results, and making corrections to meet targets.
• Assign personnel, establish priorities, monitor progress, resolve problems, evaluate employees, and conduct orientation and training.
• Ensure the safety of all employees, enforce safety rules, policies, and required PPE for each position.
• Maintain compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
• Communicate about all equipment and machines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in the hydraulics industry strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives.
• Ability to develop relationships and foster a team environment.
