Production Manager

An employee-owned, family-first organization is seeking an experienced Production Manager to work closely with the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the timely completion of all projects and coordinate them to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Achieve manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees.
• Plan, monitor, and appraise production results.
• Work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, control points, and equipment; observe personnel and resources; report daily results; and make corrections to achieve targets.
• Assign personnel to accomplish work results; establish priorities; monitor progress; resolve problems; evaluate employees; and conduct orientation and training.
• Ensure the safety of all employees and ensure they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position.
• Ensure compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain communication on all equipment and machines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field.
• Experience in the hydraulics industry strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives.
• Ability to develop relationships and foster a team environment.
