Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Production Manager specializing in assembly operations to lead our client's manufacturing team in Montello, WI. DutiesPlan, coordinate, and oversee daily assembly operations to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices to eliminate waste and enhance process efficiency.Analyze production data using Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, quality control, procurement, and supply chain personnel to ensure seamless workflow.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Six Sigma methodologies and lean management techniques.Manage production planning and scheduling activities to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, and cost control; implement corrective actions as needed.Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure alignment on production goals and operational changes.Maintain compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies within the plant environment. RequirementsProven experience in manufacturing management with a focus on assembly operations; minimum of 10 years preferred.Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S.Working Knowledge of computer systems for managing production schedules (familiarity with SYSPRO is preferred).Must be an effective communicator both verbal and writtenBS in Operations Management or equivalent experience is strongly encouraged.Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma and lean management.Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel for reporting and decision-making purposes.Excellent leadership skills with a track record of team development, motivation, and cross-functional collaboration.Knowledge of supply chain management principles including logistics, inventory control, and supply chain analytics.Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.If you are an energetic leader committed to operational excellence in manufacturing environments, we encourage you to apply today.
