Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team in West Jordan, Utah. This role involves managing bakery production, supervising plant employees, and ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage bakery production and plant production budget.
• Establish specific goals and standards for each area of responsibility to align with company policies and objectives.
• Responsible for staffing the bakery and establishing production schedules.
• Run test dough to assist in developing new products.
• Perform tasks requiring independent knowledge of the baking process.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations and cost control.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance in the plant.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and Franz Core Values.
• Oversee SOP’s within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible production supervision experience.
• Professional-level knowledge in a specialized field, equivalent to a 4-year college degree.
• Enrolled in or completed the AIB 16-week class or the Certified Bakers program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergen, and traceability compliance requirements.
