Production Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the production planning + management
• Health and safety compliance
• Managing the Team
• Optimizing efficiency

Quality control & Inventory Management

• Implement and maintain quality control measures
• Leverage AI tools to audit quality control best practices
• Create target holiday quantities based on historical sales information
• Oversee the inspection of products at various stages of production
• Properly track the production workflow
• Communicate demand levels to glaze & kiln teams

Manage the Team

• Manage the studio supervisor
• Aggregate and divide tasks and responsibilities
• Coordinate with the lead trainer on scheduling
• Focus on scaling the production team
• Lead weekly production meetings

Optimizing Efficiency

• Oversight of studio and its overall productivity
• Work with lead trainer to provide feedback
• Work with studio technician to ensure equipment is operational
• Use AI tools to suggest updates

Requirements

• Proven experience in a production environment
• High emotional intelligence
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience
• Interest in employing AI technologies
