Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the production planning + management
- Health and safety compliance
- Managing the Team
- Optimizing efficiency
Quality control & Inventory Management
- Implement and maintain quality control measures
- Leverage AI tools to audit quality control best practices
- Create target holiday quantities based on historical sales information
- Oversee the inspection of products at various stages of production
- Properly track the production workflow
- Communicate demand levels to glaze & kiln teams
Manage the Team
- Manage the studio supervisor
- Aggregate and divide tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate with the lead trainer on scheduling
- Focus on scaling the production team
- Lead weekly production meetings
Optimizing Efficiency
- Oversight of studio and its overall productivity
- Work with lead trainer to provide feedback
- Work with studio technician to ensure equipment is operational
- Use AI tools to suggest updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production environment
- High emotional intelligence
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience
- Interest in employing AI technologies
