Production Manager

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager to lead operations within an appliance manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role will oversee production performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production of products.Develop production and capacity plans to meet customer demand while optimizing labor, equipment, and material resources.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing tools, process optimization, and waste reduction programs.Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.Manage manufacturing budgets, productivity, inventory, and cost-control initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, overseeing direct reports.Experience within manufacturing operations such as metal fabrication or assembly.Strong background in quality systems, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles.Proven ability to deliver results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Experience with ERP/MRP systems, labor planning, budgeting, and operational performance metrics.
