What You'll Do

  • Direct production activities, collaborating closely with supervisors to optimize schedules and resources.
  • Champion safety and quality practices to meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and achieve strategic goals.
  • Lead by example, inspiring a culture of commitment to safety, quality, and employee development.
  • Monitor KPIs closely, proactively identifying trends and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions to seize opportunities for operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, or high school diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, cost analysis and budgeting, people management, and leadership guidance.
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations.
  • Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
