About the Role
The Production Manager serves as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients, overseeing and directly participating in the loan process from start to finish to help borrowers secure the best financial program.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service by communicating with borrowers to assist in understanding loan programs, costs, and applicable loan documents.
- Review and audit income, assets, run DU, and verify credit documentation within mortgage files to ensure loan stability.
- Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers, including rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages.
- Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans, as well as 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage products.
- Ensure the loan structure presents the best program based on the borrower’s financial circumstances.
- Review files for any missing documentation that best supports loan approval.
- Communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers (requires a license for this duty).
- Pre-underwrite items to support loan approval (e.g., paystubs, credit reports, W2s, bank statements, court orders).
- Input feed for disclosures, present, and set up loans to best fit borrower needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
- Experience with Encompass LOS preferred.
- Prior underwriting or processing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.
- Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
