About the role
Worthmann Roofing & Gutters is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the entire process from sale to completion, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the production pipeline, including permitting, ordering, and scheduling
- Allocate resources effectively among Project Managers and Site Superintendents to prevent overcapacity
- Conduct weekly production KPI reviews focusing on throughput, cycle time, safety incidents, and rework
- Oversight of permit filings and compliance, ensuring no open permits remain after materials arrive
- Auditing job budgets to maintain gross profit margins and catching margin creep early
- Maintaining a skilled crew bench and standardizing pay-per-square rates
- Handling vendor relationships with material suppliers to ensure priority delivery and competitive pricing
- Dealing professionally and promptly with dissatisfied customers and resolving issues on the spot
Requirements
- Field experience in roofing, siding, exterior remodeling, or construction production management
- Proven ability to build and manage complex schedules across multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring no tasks fall through the cracks
- Experience managing crews and subcontractors, including performance and safety oversight
- Comfortable dealing with upset customers and resolving issues quickly
- Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and permitting processes
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred, given the presence of Spanish-speaking crews
- Experience with AccuLynx or a similar construction/CRM platform is beneficial
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (optional but preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in construction production management
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay
Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, with an additional 2% performance bonus based on production revenue over KPI targets, potentially up to $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
