Key Responsibilities
- Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs equipment problems.
- Completes equipment modifications and relocations with direction from a project leader.
- Logs equipment repairs, modifications, and maintenance details in the designated system.
Essential Qualifications
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably as a journeyman mechanic.
- Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery; ability to coordinate resources, contractors, supplies, and equipment for project execution; ability to train and mentor others on maintenance skills and equipment; proficient in using a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
