Production Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift

About the role

We're currently hiring a Production Mechanic for our 2nd Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday) at our FDA-regulated, cGMP-compliant manufacturing facility specializing in personal care and beauty products.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and production line issues to minimize downtime
• Perform repairs and adjustments to maintain peak equipment performance
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep
• Coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Support a safe and organized work environment
• Collaborate with production teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Promote teamwork and help create a positive workplace culture
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements

Requirements

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical environment
• Experience working with production equipment such as:
  • Labelers
  • Fillers
  • Tube machines
  • Heat tunnels
  • Wrappers
  • Coders
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication skills in English
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
