Production Line Lead 1st shift

About the role

Based in Flint, Michigan, the 1st Shift Production Line Lead oversees a machine line and its employees to ensure efficient assembly of customer orders. Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside the crew to prepare products, including packing, unpacking, repackaging, building bundles, printing boxes, and applying labels.
• Receive, log, and track new and returned products.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Assist with Team Lead duties when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience leading a crew in a production environment; corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to operate PIT equipment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk up to 100 yards repeatedly without assistance.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance or equipment.
• Ability to use all material-handling equipment independently.
• Visual ability to support close, distance, and peripheral vision and adjust focus as needed.
