Responsibilities

  • Document inspection results accurately and in real time.
  • Identify, isolate, and tag nonconforming product for review or rework.
  • Communicate inspection results to Quality, line leaders, operators, and supervisors.
  • End-of-line Inspection checks, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Assist in verification of rework and non-conforming materials
  • Follow escalation protocols for major or recurring quality issues.
  • Read construction sheet and customer requirement sheet fully in order to meet the customer requirements.
  • Assist co-workers in machine setups as required
  • Assisting co-workers in wrapping and strapping material if needed.
  • Participate in reporting any quality problems to Supervisor and QPA (Quality Process Auditor) immediately.
  • Inspect the liner for Quality Standards adherence.
  • Repair and report any faults or defects in the liner.
  • Responsible for cutting samples for lab review and testing.
  • Responsible for completing relevant paperwork and labeling liners
  • Ensure printed information is correct on liner.
  • Responsible for checking quality of weld on the first 5 feet of the liner as required
  • Responsible that all rewelds are welded and taped.
  • Stay in assigned working area.
  • Continually review supplies and report to the line Supervisor any shortages.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required and in adherence to 5S standards
  • Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
  • Will at times be asked to perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing inspection preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with basic measurement tools (e.g., tape measure).
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Standing, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and walking for extended periods. Exposure to moderate noise and standard factory conditions.

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 17.95 - 17.95 USD per hour

Schedule

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but could include shift work, weekends, evenings and/or holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
