About the role

This role oversees the efficient movement of inventory from the warehouse to the production floor, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides top-tier customer service to the Production team to enhance company performance.
• Guarantees timely and precise delivery of materials to each production line.
• Hires, trains, and manages staff, aligning their roles with company policies and procedures.
• Evaluates inventory organization to optimize space usage.
• Ensures all manufacturing teams receive necessary parts promptly.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and daily checks.
• Labels and places products in appropriate bin locations.
• Daily forklift inspections to ensure equipment safety.
• Rejects damaged goods and implements corrective actions.
• Logs non-conforming products and verifies returned goods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AAON Forklift Certification.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication in both written and verbal forms.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, sit or stand for 95% of work hours, handle seasonal temperature changes, dust, and chemical fumes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have no prior degree or license, but should possess a high school diploma or GED. They should also hold an AAON Forklift Certification and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
