Production Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Leader to join our Dispersions team in Louisville, KY. This role involves optimizing daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, collaborating with various teams for continuous improvement, and managing inventories and supplier coordination.

About the Role

The Production Leader plays a crucial role in driving plant performance through coordination of production paperwork, implementation of process improvements, and management of break-in and emergency work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production paperwork, batch sheets, schedules, and SAP transactions
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, improve efficiencies, and enhance reliability
• Review and validate work notifications, priorities, scope, and execution readiness
• Manage break-in and emergency work while communicating impacts to Production
• Provide technical guidance and off-hours support as required
• Manage inventories (packaging, labels, propane, supplies) and supplier coordination
• Lead safety activities including stop-work authority, inspections, SWP/LOTO, MOC actions
• Serve as SME, trainer, and support resource for production and shipping teams
• Fill in for Shift Group Leaders as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of operational experience; maintenance experience preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills and SAP knowledge
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
