ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains shift performance and efficiency, correcting or escalating issues.
  • Recommends changes to equipment and staff to enhance efficiency.
  • Communicates with team to solve common issues and implement improvements.
  • Trains and orients new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and their importance to the company.
  • Writes Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and One Point Lessons for the department.
  • Maintains proficiency in operating production machinery.
  • Schedules and monitors production processes, verifying employee paperwork before submission to Quality Control.
  • Closes production records and informs inventory control of discrepancies.
  • Inspects products for conformance to specifications and makes deviations when necessary.
  • Interprets company policies and job orders to employees.
  • Directs setup and adjustments of machines, answering employee questions during shifts.
  • Communicates with other departments for supply requisitions.
  • Completes required paperwork and reports truthfully and legibly.
  • Participates in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complies with OSHA guidelines, safety policies, and cGMP standards.

  • Supports a culture of safe production and engages in safety activities.
  • Participates in safety programs, providing and accepting constructive feedback on safety performance.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Reports workplace incidents and hazards to supervisor.
