ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Affords assistance to the supervisor in directing daily activities to promote and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
- Troubleshoots equipment and performs appropriate machine repairs and adjustments.
- Coordinates activities between various shifts to ensure a smooth transition of duties.
- Performs quality inspections on extrusion and thermoforming and printing operations.
- Aids in scheduling employees and monitors production output.
- Reviews machine output against production demands and seeks methods to enhance productivity.
- Ensures completeness of SPC data and production reports.
- Fulfills plant safe housekeeping guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Reviews Job Hazard Analysis with employees upon hire, new lines, and annually.
- Maintains compliance with SQF / HACCP requirements as per the written “Food Safety & Quality Policy.”
- Monitors departmental personnel for safe setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
Experience/Qualifications Requirements
- The successful candidate should possess 3 years of forming and printing experience, preferably in a polystyrene manufacturing facility, and demonstrate strong leadership experience.
