Production Lead

Essential Functions

• Responsible for planning and performing daily production activities.
• Conducts daily safety checks on equipment.
• Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards.
• Regularly informs and updates members of rules, regulations and objectives.
• Schedules and performs production operations.
• Trains and supervises other members of the production team.
• Investigates and resolves any production related issues.
• Affords assistance with other tasks as needed such as pre wiring carts, white gloving, asset tagging, green boxing and laser etching.
• Maintains knowledge of the processes and equipment used throughout the production process.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, production operations and machinery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities and delegate them when appropriate.
• Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.

Education & Experience

• A high school diploma is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing as needed.
• Ability to work within a high level of noise and some dust.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in accordance with product inventory.
• Ability to operate job-related machinery.
