Position Summary
As a part of the Creative Department and the campus team, the Production Lead oversees the audio, video and lighting needs of all services/events at the broadcast campus and ensures that they are executed with excellence.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cook up all service/event production.
- Recruit/train/schedule staff and volunteer lighting, media and video team operators.
- Identify and implement any ongoing training as necessary (software/hardware updates, procedural changes, etc.).
- Ensure lighting programming happens for every service/event.
- Work with Media Manager to ensure the preparation of all media (slides, videos, etc.) for presentation at every service/event.
- Prepare on-stage audio and video before any rehearsal.
- Manage and coordinate all live video capture, play back, and post editing.
- Cook up with the Video Director to make sure all video elements are prepared and ready for services and events.
- Oversee and implement any Broadcast campus upgrades/updates/installs as directed by the Production Director.
- Oversee the recruitment, on-boarding and training of campus production volunteers.
- Coordinate with the Production Director to assist on any church-wide projects (conferences, new campus installs, etc.).
- Oversee the responsibilities of other Broadcast campus production staff.
- Attend weekly service planning meetings.
- Handle any campus-specific responsibilities as determined by Associate Campus Pastor or Production Director.
Qualifications
- Proficient in audio mixing techniques and consoles.
- Proficient in lighting programming.
- Proficient in all things video, specifically:
- ProPresenter
- Directing and Switching
- Adobe Premiere
- Video capture and playback
- Experienced in Google Suite Education.
- Any combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described with an emphasis on continual learning.
- At least 4 years related experience.
