Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily manufacturing functions, including staging work based on schedule and shipping priorities
• Maintain oversight of order progress to ensure production schedule is met
• Work at manufacturing processes as needed, assisting operators with troubleshooting, operational problems, and reviewing documentation
• Assist in product defect analysis and initiate corrective actions as necessary
• Perform SAP and OCS database functions as required to support production
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Operations regarding process improvement, cost reduction, safety, and 6S activities
• Represent leadership at OCS and handle shop floor issues, escalating when necessary

Requirements

• Certified in manufacturing or support positions at OFS
• At least 2 to 4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on assembly, piece work, or supporting such processes
• Completion of required on-the-job training and certification, along with passing written process knowledge tests
