Role Summary
Captures shift operations, ensures production targets, equipment maintenance, and quality standards are met. Supports team development, smooth communication across shifts, and acts as a bridge between the production team and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shift activities to ensure efficient production.
- Perform equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Absorb machinery operation as needed to support production flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records and documentation.
- Maintain communication between shifts and with management to ensure continuity.
- Reassign team members as needed to meet production demands or cover absences.
- Inspect materials, products, and machinery to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Guide the team in interpreting processes and policies to ensure compliance and improve performance.
- Absorb data collection and reporting on production metrics.
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.

Qualifications (Required)
- Experience: Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, push/pull objects up to 50 pounds, bend and stoop frequently, handle small objects, work in noisy environments.
