Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively assist with the satisfactory completion and administration of the following items in order to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Safety
  • Quality assurance
  • Associate Training
  • Product Assembly

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a 30-60-90-day review program
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of solid manufacturing/production experience
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Sustained above-average attendance record by not exceeding 5 points, or the allowed five (5) call ins per the OPW attendance policy at any time
  • Satisfactory completion of all required training programs as required by management
  • Must be willing to work assigned shift and overtime
  • Must be willing and able to comply with plant safety policies

Qualifications

  • Ability to work overtime to accommodate production/project needs
  • Must be willing and able to handle fiberglass and other materials
  • Must be willing and able to wear appropriate PPE
  • Ability to listen and take direction by supervisory staff is key
  • Ability to use gauges for inspection
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, kneel, climb and work in weather extremes
