Production Lead - 2nd Shift

About the role

Guide and train production employees and coordinate quality checks on assigned production line.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and responsibility for training and directing 12-40 employees
• Assign plant operations during shift
• Meet production schedules
• Maintain employee and product safety
• Monitor production and quality
• Monitor usages and paperwork
• Troubleshoot issues
• Ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies, and company staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Self-motivated, personable, influential, and organized
• Ability to follow up, be punctual, and outgoing
• Strong communication and ability to work well with others in a plant environment
• Successfully multi-task
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP preferred
• Stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and every other weekend.
