About the role

The Production Internship is a twelve-to-sixteen-week program (September–December) designed to introduce current undergraduate students to work experiences related to their degree. Internships are paid, and requests for college credit are supported.

Requirements

• Qualified to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Actively enrolled full-time college student (12+ credit hours) with a relevant degree or concentration
• Undergraduate classification

Responsibilities

• Gain an overview of the Production Department’s functions and day-to-day responsibilities in an exploratory career-development environment
• Perform team and independent tasks as assigned
• Review and verify QA sign-off documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
• Assist production managers
• Support continuous improvement audits by gathering information, documenting observations, tracking findings, and identifying process-improvement opportunities
• Track production metrics: output, downtime, efficiency, etc.
• Provide backup administrative support to the production team, including documentation, data entry, reporting, and other operational needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for much of the working day
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment
• Occasional movement inside the office and food-processing facilities
• Capable of working in hot (100°–105° F) and cold (-20°–32° F) environments
• Ability to work in high-noise areas

Pay

Starting wage: $17.75–$22.00 per hour (dependent on year in college)
